Well a new year is well under way and things have certainly gotten interesting in our lives. After talking
about moving to New York City for years, we decided take the plunge in 2001. Spending Thanksgiving and Christmas
in the Big Apple pushed us over the edge and things were set in motion. Rich left Southern Union Company in mid
January to devote himself to getting a job in NYC. At the end of January he went to New York to finish the job
search process.
At the present time Rich is in New York as having found a job at alight.com, a web store for women's clothing.
He started at alight on February 8.
Sue was left behind to finish working at the French Legation Museum
and pack things up. Rich will return to Austin to get ready for the mover on February 26. Then we will hop in the
car and drive cross country to take up permanent residence in New York.
We will be taking up temporary residence in the West Village until our apartment in Park Slope Brooklyn becomes
available in May.
